What is Mazet?

• Mazet is a famous French confectioner and chocolate maker since 1903.

• One of the most popular Mazet’s products is pralines. It is caramelized almonds and was invested by Clement Jaluzot in 1636. A few years later, Clement Jaluzot moved to Montargis to sell Praslines.

• In 1903, Leon Mazet and his wife settled in Montargis, and they bought the recipe of Prasline. 10 years later, they opened a shop in Paris.

• In 1938, they invested second popular product, Amanda. This is almonds nougat coated in dark chocolate.

• In my opinion, Mazet’s products is very delicious, but that taste is traditional for better or worse.
