What is Tanabata?

• Tanabata is a Japanese traditional Star Festival on July 7, that originating Chinese one.

• In that day, Japanese people writes their wish on paper strip, and tie those to the leaves of bamboo,

• Why they do that is based on the romance story of stars like a “Romeo And Juliet”.

• This traditional festival has been going from the eighth century and the people has written their wish every year from at least the seventeenth century.
